Stoke-on-Trent Micro Wedding Photography | Sandy & Simon

Sun, Fun and a Peacock…

Sandy & Simon came across my work due to a replan of their day caused by the Corona Virus. They’d originally planned a day which would see a family friend take the photographs. With Covid-19 changing up their plans to become a micro wedding day in Stoke they thought why not reconsider our choice for photographs and that’s how I came into the frame.

It’s really important for my couples to feel like my couples whether they start with me or enter my frame part way through their journey. Each of them is incredibly important to me whether they’re having a full-blown wedding or a lovely little micro wedding celebration. I’ve spent many a time texting or speaking with Sandy about the plans and putting her at ease that no matter the place I’d be able to capture the most awesome photographs. This is something many of my couples worry about who haven’t booked a grand stately home.

With the entire wedding now set to be at a church at the heart of their relationship all day, Potters House at the Bridge Centre, they had many a concern about making it look like the most incredible wedding even though it was only a 30 person day after all. Leaving this up to me is so important. I never want any of my couples worrying how this will look good or that will look good. I’ll just take care of it all and make a micro wedding day in Stoke look like the biggest party in the world.

A Summer Stoke-on-Trent Micro Wedding

I loved being a part of Sandy & Simon’s wedding day at Stoke-on-Trent Micro Wedding and would relish the chance to do it again.

My style of wedding photography is strongly built on my incredible extraverted personality and using this to build an incredible relationship with every single one of my couples. All of my couples are different and unique so in turn, so are their weddings and the photographs always lean on their personalities to make them completely different. This is even the case if I was to shoot another Stoke-on-Trent Micro Wedding. For me and my couples time is everything on their wedding day, you want to spend it with your friends and family and not on a massive photoshoot in a field. So if I can help it I don’t really want you to miss a thing and would love you to remember as much as possible. This caring and relaxed approach to my wedding photography is the reason why so many couples recommend me. They always say it feels like a friend is taking their photographs and not a photographer.
