"Adam did it all with a huge smile on his face, laughing with the guests and making sure everything happened when it needed to!"
As a friend of Adam’s sister I had seen Adam’s work on Facebook and Instagram over the last few years and had always loved it. We had a discussion with some mutual friends and they highly recommended Adam because of his ability to get natural photos, capturing the emotion of the day.
We reached out to Adam through his website and arranged a Skype call with him. On the call Adam was really helpful in advising us on how timings work best for the day. We had a November wedding and are so grateful that Adam encouraged us to push the service an hour forward so we were able to get family portraits and couple shots in the light.
A week or so before the wedding Adam met us at the church. It was a fantastic chance to hear Adam’s ideas and to run-through the plan for the day. Adam was brilliant at including my parents and making everything feel in control!
On the day itself… Adam arrived early at my house to photograph the bridal party getting ready. The small touch of arriving early is an excellent example of how thoughtful Adam is in his approach to his work – throughout the process he seeks to eliminate stress, and time and again proves that your photography is in a safe pair of hands.
Throughout the day Adam demonstrated his organisational prowess, alongside bucket fulls of charm. Following our service there were 140 guests to organise for the confetti throw and various family portraits. Adam did it all with a huge smile on his face, laughing with the guests and making sure everything happened when it needed to! The result is some of our favourite photos of the day.
During the reception Adam mixed with our guests and captured so many wonderful candid and portrait shots. He was also not shy about getting into the middle of a bustling dance floor to capture some questionable dance moves.
On the day we asked Adam to stay for an extra hour to capture us leaving the wedding through sparklers. Once again, Adam’s organisation skills were indispensable as he arranged our guests into two lines and this time with with lit sparklers.
Within 48 hours of the wedding Adam had sent us our ‘sneak peeks’. It was brilliant to be able to see pictures of the day so soon after and to share them with our friends and family.
Two weeks later I asked Adam if we could get our family portraits early so we would be able to give them as Christmas presents; by the next day Adam had sent them over! Adam’s willingness to go the extra mile to make his couple’s happy demonstrates again why he is the obvious choice for a wedding photographer. Safe to say, our family loved the framed family pictures at Christmas.
The full gallery that Adam produced is so full of joy, fun and great memories.
All of our families and friends have commented about how much they love the photos and how great it was to have Adam there on the day. In fact, most people thought Adam was an old friend of ours because of how well we got on with him.
Just before Christmas we received a thank you note from Adam and some prints from the day – just another one of Adam’s thoughtful touches.
Adam is unbelievably reliable, thoughtful, funny and talented. If you are getting married I would wholeheartedly encourage you to book Adam.
