"It was like having a close friend take our photos."

I got in touch with Adam after reading his Facebook advert – he seemed to have the same interests as us which felt a pretty important quality to have in someone who we were trusting to capture our special day. We met in a local coffee shop and it was so easy – we chatted like we had known him for years, we had multiple interests in common mostly the love we have for our dogs!

We knew straight away he had to be ours!

Communication was so easy from that very first email to collecting our wedding albums. We could get in touch at any time about anything.

We had an engagement shoot – our first experience of a photo shoot and again, it was so easy. We really enjoyed it and Adam simply embraced the fact we had my step-son, parents and 2 dogs in tow and they all got in on a photo! The photos from the shoot were wonderful and ended up playing a big part in our wedding day.

Adam came to see us a few weeks before the wedding to discuss final plans. We met at my parents house so he could see where the bridal party would be getting ready. Again, so easy, he fit right in and involved Mum and Dad in the process.

THE BIG DAY. Adam arrived right on time, made everyone feel relaxed and took on board what we wanted to be captured. He got to work right away; capturing moments and small details that ended up being really special!

Now, It’s a long day for everyone but especially the Bride and Groom. Adam checked in with us throughout the day; asking if we were ok when we were having photos, he would ask if we needed a break or a drink. It was like having a close friend take our photos. Admittedly I (the Bride) found having a long veil on a particularly windy day a little stressful when trying to have photos taken but it was still great fun and Adam took the stress away. We laughed so much!

Throughout the evening reception Adam snapped away and ended up capturing lovey photos of our guests dancing and partying away. We had so much fun with sparklers right at the end of the night which he caught on camera perfectly. He came to tell us when his time was coming to an end to make sure there wasn’t anything else we wanted. A few romantic photos of the bride and groom and a quick selfie with Adam later his time was done.

Our sneak peaks arrived not long after our big day shortly followed by the rest – we, along with all of our friends and family, loved them! But, by far our favourite thing to have taken away from this experience is our wedding album. The pictures are all so wonderful and, with Adams advice, they have all been laid out in a way that flows beautifully.

It’s really important to have someone you trust and that can really understand what you want to gain from having a photographer at your wedding. Adam did that perfectly. We have some wonderful memories of our big day thanks to him.

Thank you Adam!
