Siobhan & Ben
"When the pandemic hit and our original plans were shattered, Adam was always there to help."
It’s hard to know where to start with writing this testimonial as it honestly feels like reviewing one of our wedding guests.
From our first meeting by video call Adam made us both feel relaxed and comfortable and this continued right through to the wedding day and beyond. We explained at the start that neither of us wanted to stand around posing all day but we did want to have photos to treasure forever. Our original plan was for a 120 person wedding in June 2020 including lots of different military and traditional dress with loads of kids and dogs all over the place. Adam was keen to take on all of the challenges we put in front of him and asked questions which helped us to shape our day as he covered some things we’d never thought of.
After we booked and having already followed Adam on social media, we began to ‘like’ photos which showed the kind of thing we hoped to capture from our day. Every wedding seemed to have at least one real WOW shot and we were very excited to have one of our own. Adam continued to check in and communicate with us when necessary but wasn’t overbearing or pushy. He was also very patient when life sometimes got in the way of wedding planning.
When the pandemic hit and our original plans were shattered, Adam was always there to help. We were so happy he was able to be there on what ultimately turned out to be a 15 person wedding in October. He reassured us, comforted us and commiserated with us and became a source of comfort, knowledge, and most importantly experience the chaotic replanning of a pandemic wedding. Something we hadn’t previously considered properly was how important his experience would prove to be.
Then the big day came- finally- Adam was punctual, smart, friendly and professional. He helped to orchestrate the day and was comfortable telling our friends and family where they needed to be. From the 70 year old to the 7 year old, Adam knew just how to talk to our guests and absolutely charmed the two family dogs who were there as well. He worked so hard to find the perfect places around Walcot Hall to take photos. By breaking the shoots up into several small chunks we just felt like we were taking a breather from the day and having a walk with a friend. As the mood was so relaxed it was a great chance to spend a few minutes together as a couple away from the guests too. Honestly, put Adam in charge and you will be in very safe hands!
After the final photos of the night had been taken and we said goodbye to Adam it was an excited wait for our sneak peeks to arrive. We didn’t have long to wait to receive them and we were delighted. We didn’t just have one WOW photo, they all were!
Everybody who we have shared them with loved them. One friend said they saw the album cover and thought “that’s the one you blow up for your wall” but then thought the same thing about so many more. We think this sums the album up perfectly and we can’t wait to look back on the photos for years to come.
We know we have a great friend in Adam and look forward to recommending him to all our friends and family.
