I feel the connection between a couple and their photographer is a really important factor hence why I wanted to show this part of my work as well. The History of Betley Court Farm
Betley Court Farm is one of those venues that feels instantly personal. Set just outside the pretty Cheshire village of Betley, the farm has been part of the local landscape for generations. It’s very much a working family farm at heart, surrounded by open countryside, rolling fields and that peaceful, tucked-away feeling you only find in rural Cheshire and Staffordshire border villages.
What makes Betley Court Farm so special is that it hasn’t been turned into a commercialised wedding machine. Instead, the family opened up part of their land for couples wanting something more relaxed, more authentic and more “themselves”. Over the years it’s become a favourite for couples who want a completely bespoke wedding — a blank canvas with character, charm and freedom built in.
From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping onto a little pocket of countryside designed just for your celebration. The traditional farm setting, open fields and nearby cottages all come together to create a place that feels welcoming, warm and full of possibility.

My couples are usually super down to earth and are planning a relaxed fun wedding day surrounded by all those people they love. I love a party! So when it comes to weddings I can’t help but get wrapped up in the magic of your day. Getting so stuck in with your wedding allows me to translate so much more feeling into my photographs. At some point, you’ll want a few awesome photographs of the two of you. These photographs will take minutes and not hours so we can get straight back to the party. Oh and those family formal portraits, don’t worry about them, they’ll be zero hassle.
With my super extraverted personality I’ll be one of the most excited guests from the moment I arrive. It won’t take your wedding party long to assume we are lifelong friends.
