A Wedding Steeped in Local Pottery Heritage

As soon as Grace & Ash got in touch about me photographing their Middleport Pottery wedding I was hooked. I am a Stokie through and through and love this city so a chance to show it off in the backdrop to my wedding photography was something I just couldn’t pass up.

As expected the photographs were oozing local heritage and the choice of a more vintage theme from Grace and Ash really brought it all together. I never thought I’d be able to shoot a confetti line with a pot bank in the background or even use a row of recently glaised pots as a backdrop to a portrait.

A Summer Wedding at Middleport Pottery

I loved being a part of this Middleport Pottery wedding day and would relish the chance to do it again.

My style of wedding photography is strongly built on my incredibly extroverted personality and I use this to build incredible relationships with every single one of my couples. All of my couples are different and unique. When photographing their weddings I always lean on their personalities to make their collection completely unique. This is even the case if I were to shoot again at Middleport Pottery again. For me and my couples, time is everything on their wedding day, you want to spend it with your friends and family and not on a massive photo shoot. If I can help it I don’t really want you to miss a thing and would love you to remember as much as possible.

This caring and relaxed approach to my wedding photography is the reason why so many couples recommend me. They always say it feels like a friend is taking their photographs and not a photographer.
