Through the magic of a 360 camera, I’m able to capture behind-the-scenes content on my wedding days to show my current and future couples exactly what it would like for them to have me along at their Moddershall Oaks wedding day
All of these videos and more are captured in the most subtle way making sure to not disrupt the wedding day at all. I feel the connection between a couple and their photographer is a really important factor hence why I wanted to show this part of my work as well. I’m not like every wedding photographer and showing you these behind-the-scenes videos from Moddershall hopefully helps me to reinforce that statement.

Adam is amazing, if you’re looking for your wedding photographer – look no further!
When we first met Adam, we knew he was the photographer for our wedding at Moddershall! His passion for weddings and great photography oozes out, he’s so warm and friendly and we instantly felt comfortable around him (something that we found was so important, as being photographed on your wedding day feels quite intimate). As well as us thinking he is amazing, our guests all loved him too!
On the run-up to the wedding, he shared useful wedding guides, tips and tricks, checked in on us and offered help where he could – going above and beyond his duty as a photographer! This carried on to the wedding and after, Adam ensured we got all the photographs we hoped for and more, he pretty much helped run the wedding day and kept things moving!
He worked tirelessly to get informal and formal group shots, vendor photographs, candid pictures, indoors, outdoors and dance floor pictures. He even had time to show us his creative photography flare using reflections and light. We have only seen our sneak peek pictures at the moment and we’re in love with them, we can’t wait to see the rest!
All we can say is, put your trust in Adam and go with it, you won’t regret it! We can’t recommend Adam enough, he is truly the best! Thank you Adam for helping make our day so much more wonderful!

Luxury Spa Wedding Venue
If you’re looking for an overnight getaway or the perfect wedding venue then you won’t go far wrong with Moddershall Oaks Country Spa Retreat.
Guests can enjoy evening or overnight stay packages booked directly through the spa. The spa boasts a vast amount of treatment options but if this is not your cup of tea then you can enjoy either of the two spa areas.
The indoor facilities have a large swimming pool with heated loungers to keep warm after a dip. A state-of-the-art hydrotherapy pool gives your body a full release or the more simple Jacuzzi seats provide the classic spa feel. A steam room is also located at the poolside.
At the top of the retreat is a relaxation room which is just a short walk from the suites. This opens out on to the outdoor heated vitality spa pool which is one of the main spa boasts as you sit taking in the countryside and a beautiful double-sided wood burner. A sauna is also located outdoors and deck chairs provide a place to lie in the sun on those warmer days and a sauna is also located.
The on-site award-winning restaurant offers vibrant food cooked by top chefs with organic ingredients which are mouth “wateringly” tasty. If you fancy escaping the estate there are several fantastic gastro pubs nearby including The Black Inn just minutes away.
The newest addition to Moddershall Oaks is MADE which is a large fitness and wellness centre based on site. Whether it’s a gym or a yoga lesson by the private lake you’re after MADE has a lot to offer making Moddershall Oaks the complete package for a wellbeing revival.
Maybe a spa isn’t your vibe though? Well, there are on-site tennis courts and bicycles to hire to explore the local woodland and nearby countryside.
Whatever it is you’re after, Moddershall Oaks Country Spa Retreat has probably got it.
If you want to explore the local area then there is tons to do and see including visiting the quaint market town of Stone, heading to the awarding winning Italian Gardens at the Trentham Estate or maybe diving into the local pottery scene is your thing, well if that’s the case the world-renowned World of Wedgwood sits right on the doorstep of Moddershall.
The Venue Wedding Space at Moddershall
Moddershall Oaks’ wedding venue is called just that, The Venue. It offers an air of exclusivity as it sits at the rear of the retreat with its own private car park and amenities.
Outdoor or indoor wedding ceremonies are great at Moddershall Oaks. If you’re going to say “I do” in Winter or on a breezier day then the team can simply switch your outdoor service to an indoor one if the weather turns foul.
Outdoor services are really one of the main selling points though as you say your vows beneath a beautiful oak pagoda by the picturesque private lake surrounded by woodland, Modershall’s famous huge oak tree and all your beautiful guests.
After you’ve signed the register and thrown the confetti then the compact but spacious layout of the venue means you can either enjoy the indoor space around the bar or sit outside in the tranquil countryside with an ice-cold cocktail.
The function space at The Venue is multi-adaptable with sliding walls which can fit a range of wedding day guest numbers. In the evening the room opens out to give you one big nice naturally flowing space to enjoy all of the evening festivities like the first dance and the official cake cut.
If you just so happen to be getting ready at Moddershall in the morning then you can request to make use of The Snug which is Moddershall’s beauty room with enough room to fit even the largest bridal party in.
Photography Amongst a Gorgeous Private Estate
Being a Moddershall Oaks wedding photographer is a really great job. The venue has almost been designed with photography and photos in mind.
Beautiful skylights flood the main function space with natural light meaning I can quite often shoot without flash well into the evening during the lighter seasons.
Artificial Grass outside gives a great dry place sheltered from the sun by the woodland for those all-important traditional family portraits. Continuing with a short walk around the private lake by a stone path you can really let your wedding dress down and display it in all its glory for the whole of the day.
There are multiple small and large photograph opportunities for natural wedding portraits with benches, a small garden, the woodland and the pontoon all less than a minute’s work from The Venue.
The whole venue breathes the air of a luxurious spa with furnishings and fittings which build great foregrounds and backgrounds to photographs.
At night the outdoors change into a woodland fairytale with up-lighters and fairy lights littering the space. I love creating magical creative wedding photos at night at Moddershall Oaks. With being amongst the countryside the contrast being light and dark in your photographs is much larger so portraits in the evening are a must.

My couples are usually super down to earth and are planning a relaxed fun wedding day surrounded by all those people they love. I love a party! So when it comes to weddings I can’t help but get wrapped up in the magic of your day. Getting so stuck in with your wedding allows me to translate so much more feeling into my photographs. At some point, you’ll want a few awesome photographs of the two of you. These photographs will take minutes and not hours so we can get straight back to the party. Oh and those family formal portraits, don’t worry about them, they’ll be zero hassle.
With my super extraverted personality I’ll be one of the most excited guests from the moment I arrive. It won’t take your wedding party long to assume we are lifelong friends.
