Behind the Scenes at Park Farm

Through the magic of a 360 camera, I’m able to capture behind-the-scenes content on my wedding days to show my current and future couples exactly what it would like for them to have me along at their Park Farm wedding day

All of these videos and more are captured in the most subtle way making sure to not disrupt the wedding day at all. I feel the connection between a couple and their photographer is a really important factor hence why I wanted to show this part of my work as well. I’m not like every wedding photographer and showing you these behind-the-scenes videos from Park Farm hopefully helps me to reinforce that statement.

If you are still looking at wedding photographers’ websites and have come to Adam’s website, look no further, you’ve found your photographer!

From our initial meeting with Adam right the way through to our wedding he was approachable, helpful and always happy to offer advice when we weren’t sure about things. We initially met over Zoom and after spending 2 hours chatting we knew he was the best person for the job. Closer to the wedding he came over to our house and we discussed the photos we wanted and the logistics of the day

We couldn’t be more pleased with our photographs, they completely encapsulated the joy of the day.

The History of Park Farm, Upper Shuckburgh

Park Farm is one of those venues that feels like you’ve stumbled across one of the Midlands’ best-kept secrets. Tucked away at the end of a mile-long private drive on the historic Shuckburgh Estate, it’s surrounded by countryside that has remained largely unchanged for centuries. Every time I arrive here, it feels like leaving the modern world behind and stepping into a quieter, more peaceful setting.

The farm itself has been part of the Shuckburgh Estate for generations, with the estate’s history stretching back to the 12th century. The family still own and live at nearby Shuckburgh Hall today, giving the whole area a real sense of continuity and heritage that’s becoming increasingly rare. Park Farm’s beautiful Cart Shed dates back to the late 17th century, originally serving as a working farm building before being lovingly restored into the incredible wedding venue it is today.

Rather than losing its agricultural roots during the restoration, Park Farm has embraced them. The original brickwork, exposed beams and rustic character remain at the heart of the venue, creating a space that feels authentic rather than manufactured. It’s a place that celebrates the countryside without ever feeling overly polished, and I think that’s exactly why so many couples fall in love with it.

Park Farm Weddings

One of the things I love most about weddings at Park Farm is just how relaxed they feel. From the moment you arrive, there’s no sense of rushing from one part of the day to the next. Instead, you’ve got exclusive use of the farm for an extended stay, giving you plenty of time to settle in, decorate the venue exactly how you want it and really enjoy the whole experience with your family and friends.

Ceremonies can take place in the beautifully restored Cart Shed, the characterful Lambing Shed, or, if you’ve always dreamed of saying your vows outdoors, the venue also has its own licensed woodland ceremony area tucked amongst the trees. Every option feels intimate and connected to the surrounding countryside, making it easy to create a wedding that’s completely personal to you.

After the ceremony, guests can wander through the gardens, relax around the fire pit, enjoy drinks overlooking the rolling fields or simply soak up the atmosphere while everything unfolds naturally. One of the biggest advantages of Park Farm is its flexibility. You’re free to choose your own caterers, suppliers and styling, with no corkage charge, so every wedding here feels completely different from the last.

The on-site accommodation is another huge bonus. The beautiful bed and breakfast rooms, The Granary, Garden Room and the charming Shepherd’s Hut mean you and your closest family or friends can stay together before and after the wedding. It transforms your celebration into an entire wedding weekend rather than just a single day, and I always find that creates a much more relaxed atmosphere for everyone involved.

Photographing Weddings at Park Farm

As a wedding photographer, Park Farm is exactly the kind of venue I love working at. It isn’t about grand staircases or extravagant interiors — it’s about genuine moments surrounded by beautiful countryside and authentic character. The rustic barns, ancient oak trees, gardens and open fields all provide incredible backdrops without ever stealing attention away from the people who matter most.

I particularly love photographing couples along the tree-lined driveway or out amongst the rolling landscape as the sun begins to set. The light across the fields is beautiful in the evening, creating those soft, golden portraits that never go out of style. Around the farm itself there are so many little corners to explore too, from the gardens to the woodland paths and the warm brick textures of the barns.

Because weddings at Park Farm are so personal and flexible, they naturally suit my style of photography. I can simply blend into the day, capture everything as it unfolds and document all the little moments that make your wedding unique. Nothing feels staged or rushed, and that’s exactly how I believe wedding photography should be.

If you’re planning your wedding at Park Farm and are looking for a photographer who’ll capture the atmosphere, the emotion and every little detail without taking you away from your guests for hours, I’d love to be part of your day. It’s a venue full of warmth, character and genuine countryside charm, and it’s always a pleasure to photograph weddings here.

A PArk Farm Wedding photographer

No matter your race, colour, creed, or sexuality, you are everything to me. I wouldn’t live this incredible photography dream job without you. I can’t help but be your absolute wedding hero.

My couples are usually super down to earth and are planning a relaxed fun wedding day surrounded by all those people they love. I love a party! So when it comes to weddings I can’t help but get wrapped up in the magic of your day. Getting so stuck in with your wedding allows me to translate so much more feeling into my photographs. At some point, you’ll want a few awesome photographs of the two of you. These photographs will take minutes and not hours so we can get straight back to the party. Oh and those family formal portraits, don’t worry about them, they’ll be zero hassle.

With my super extraverted personality, I’ll be one of the most excited guests from the moment I arrive. It won’t take your wedding party long to assume we are lifelong friends.
