A Derbyshire Faux Wedding Shoot
As a bit of something different, I nominated myself to go along to a styled shoot at the brand new and exclusive Stretton Manor Barn which is located along the A61 Derby Road in the village of Stretton, Derbyshire. Not too far from Chesterfield on a private 22-acre estate, this secluded luxurious wedding venue offers the ultimate escape from the big city wedding vibe.
Built by two brothers who already own a Tipi Events company, Tipi & Kata, the whole of Stretton Manor Barn has been completed to an incredibly high standard inside and out. Originally a tin farm shed the transformation leaves small features of the original farm building but the more modern additions are the most striking features including an 8-meter bifold door which brings a seamless element between your bar lounge area and your outside drinks patio.
Sitting 140 guests this wedding barn in Derbyshire is the perfect large space to host a huge wedding banquet with all of your nearest and dearest. As I said this is all contained in the most luxurious settings including huge handmade oak long tables and a gorgeous herringbone floor.

A Spring Wedding Shoot at Stretton Manor Barn
I loved being a part of this styled shoot wedding day organised by Rustic Rose Events at Stretton Manor Barn and would relish the chance to do it for real sometime.
My style of wedding photography is strongly built on my incredibly extraverted personality and using this to build an incredible relationship with every single one of my couples. All of my couples are different and unique so in turn, so are their weddings and the photographs always lean on their personalities to make them completely different. This is even the case if I was to shoot again at Stretton Manor Barn again. For me and my couples time is everything on their wedding day, you want to spend it with your friends and family and not on a massive photo shoot in a field. So if I can help it I don’t really want you to miss a thing and would love you to remember as much as possible. This caring and relaxed approach to my wedding photography is the reason why so many couples recommend me. They always say it feels like a friend is taking their photographs and not a photographer.
