Through the magic of a 360 camera, I’m able to capture behind-the-scenes content on my wedding days to show my current and future couples exactly what it would like for them to have me along at their Love Shack wedding day
All of these videos and more are captured in the most subtle way making sure to not disrupt the wedding day at all. I feel the connection between a couple and their photographer is a really important factor hence why I wanted to show this part of my work as well. I’m not like every wedding photographer and showing you these behind-the-scenes videos from The Love Shack hopefully helps me to reinforce that statement.

The History of The Love Shack, Knutsford
When I first discovered The Love Shack Weddings tucked away in the woodland outside Knutsford, I knew it was something a little different and those are the kinds of venues I love to work at. Set within the grounds of Moss Wood, the site feels like a hidden world just beyond the busy roads of Cheshire. 
While it doesn’t have centuries of manor-house history behind it, what it does have is something far more precious: a sense of calm, exclusivity and nature-infused charm. The Love Shack venue has been crafted with care for couples who want a wedding day that’s quietly brilliant and away from the usual fuss, and entirely their own. 
From the moment you drive into the tree-lined approach, through to the lakeside setting and woodland paths, every part of the estate whispers “this is your day, and no one else’s”. In my time photographing here, I’ve seen how the simplicity of the setting elevates everything — light, emotions, moments.
Weddings at The Love Shack
Weddings at The Love Shack are beautifully relaxed, deeply personal and set in a place that feels like your very own escape. On the morning of the day, you’ll arrive at a luxury lodge, think cosy, high-end, intimate. Get ready surrounded by wood, windows and gentle light. The main lodge (called The Stables) and the second guest lodge (The Summerhouse) are part of the experience.
Your ceremony will most often take place in the actual “Shack” — a stylised cabin nestled in the Acer Glade at Moss Wood, with a woodland path as your aisle, twinkling lights overhead, gently filtered light and a feeling of stepping into your own little world.
After your vows, the grounds invite you to wander — the orchard, the lake (yes, you can even take The Love Boat out on the lake if you like!), lawn spaces, fire-pit seating under blankets it has that mix of romance and ease that’s ideal for natural, unforced photographs.
In the evening you’ll feel a sense of total privacy. Up to ten people including the couple can attend (for the core intimate ceremony). The whole site becomes yours: the lodge, the woods, the lake, the path. There’s no rush, no large crowds, just you and your nearest and dearest in a setting that’s been designed to feel exclusive and meaningful.
Photographing Amongst the Most Magical Setting
Working at The Love Shack is such a joy from a photographer’s perspective. As someone who blends into the day, lets things happen naturally and focuses on authentic moments, this venue gives me everything I need. The light in the woodland is soft and even, paths draw you in naturally for portraits, and the lake reflections or forest lanterns add texture and atmosphere that many venues simply don’t have.
I love slipping out with you for a few moments just after your ceremony, maybe a wander along the lake, a quiet sit in the orchard, the two of you under a blanket by the fire-pit as night falls. These are the images I know you’ll love long after the day is done.

My couples are usually super down to earth and are planning a relaxed fun wedding day surrounded by all those people they love. I love a party! So when it comes to weddings I can’t help but get wrapped up in the magic of your day. Getting so stuck in with your wedding allows me to translate so much more feeling into my photographs. At some point, you’ll want a few awesome photographs of the two of you. These photographs will take minutes and not hours so we can get straight back to the party. Oh and those family formal portraits, don’t worry about them, they’ll be zero hassle.
With my super extraverted personality I’ll be one of the most excited guests from the moment I arrive. It won’t take your wedding party long to assume we are lifelong friends.
