Returning To My Favourite Woodland

I drove just 10 minutes from my home in Stoke-on-Trent to meet Amy, Mike and Chip to celebrate their engagement with some photographs in the gorgeous Hanchurch Woods, well Swynnerton Old Park to be exact. A beautiful soul-filling woodland full of Scots Pine lining the landscape like wooden sky scrapers.

Over the years I’ve returned to Hanchurch Woods time and time again whether it’s just to clear my head or to do another engagement shoot. It really is a space where my creativity comes alive and sprouts new life.

This time we had a little doggy, Chip, who stole the whole show and made us all look silly. I love dogs and as soon as my couples mention including them in the photographs I’m all in.
