A Boutique Staffordshire Wedding Venue
Just 20 minutes from my home in Stoke-on-Trent, Whitmore Hall is an exclusive wedding venue which offers its services for a very small select few each year. The current occupants are the Mainwaring-Cavenaugh family who’ve occupied the homestead for almost 900 years. Luckily I was the only wedding to grace the historic grounds of Whitmore Hall in 2022 for Janette and David’s wedding in the April sun.
With acres upon acres of historic gardens and parkland to explore you’ll never be able to run out of wedding portrait space at this delightful country hall. The sheer size of Whitmore Hall is astounding. Wedding guests will have access to a select section of it throughout a wedding day but for the evening it closes it’s doors and the party continues by the lakeside usually within a tipi or marquee organised by an external wedding events company. For official marriage ceremonies, couples can take advantage of the quaint Whitmore Church within the grounds or Whitmore Hall or they can marry within the house itself.

I loved being a part of Janette & David wedding day at Whitmore Hall and would relish the chance to do it again.
My style of wedding photography is strongly built on my incredible extraverted personality and using this to build an incredible relationship with every single one of my couples. All of my couples are different and unique so in turn, so are their weddings and the photographs always lean on their personalities to make them completely different. This is even the case if I was to shoot again at Whitmore Hall again. For me and my couples time is everything on their wedding day, you want to spend it with your friends and family and not on a massive photo shoot in a field. So if I can help it I don’t really want you to miss a thing and would love you to remember as much as possible. This caring and relaxed approach to my wedding photography is the reason why so many couples recommend me. They always say it feels like a friend is taking their photographs and not a photographer.
