Katie & Mark

"However, I felt so much more relaxed after speaking to Adam, our meeting just put everything into place for both of us."

We got engaged in December of 2016. A key point in the planning of our wedding was considering a photographer. I knew Adam from previous years so had seen a lot of his work through social media. I loved Adam’s style and showed my fiancé, Mark, who also agreed.

We contacted Adam and organised to meet up with him to discuss our wedding options and proposed date. We met locally and straight away we both felt at ease with him. He showed us his previous work and discussed our wedding day options. It was all very relaxed and we didn’t feel at all pressurised to make a decision there and then, even though we knew we weren’t going to look any where else.

As we have never done a professional shoot before, or even together, we asked Adam about organising an engagement shoot. We all felt that this was a great way to understand how Adam works on the day, what he expects off us and gives Adam an idea of how well we work with the camera too. We fell into it quite naturally but we both think this was helped on by the fact Adam made us both feel totally at ease. We visited Keele Hall which is where Mark and I first met. Adam used the different features of the grounds really well and we got some great images from the few hours we spent with him. From this we asked Adam to create our save the dates for our Wedding. We were so pleased with the outcome of these and so many of our recipients commented on how professional and beautiful they were.

This put us in a great position ready for the wedding. A few days before the big day we met with Adam to discuss the timings of the day, any specific photographs we wish to have taken and anything special that’s occurring, so that he was completely aware and could get the best shots possible. I was a little apprehensive before the day trying to understand how everything would be captured and just generally having wedding wobbles! However, I felt so much more relaxed after speaking to Adam, our meeting just put everything into place for both of us.

On the day itself, Adam was brilliant! We had a lot of laughs, he made all our guests feel at ease and somehow managed to keep the Mother of The Bride calm! We have had many compliments from our guests about Adam and how professional, attentive and funny he was throughout the day.

We had our sneak peeks a few days after our big day, and they certainly wowed us! We both could not wait to see the rest. The images captured were impeccable. We were (and still are) both very much overwhelmed with how amazing the photos are and how Adam truly captured every special moment throughout the day. We literally relived the whole day whilst browsing through the gallery of photographs. It was very emotional (in a good way!) and it was so hard to choose a favourite from them all! A few weeks later nearing the finishing point of the final collection, Adam sent us another sneak preview, a slideshow of a small selection of photographs he’d selected with a cute backing track. Again, completely taken a back by this and the images presented. This was very special and it just teased us one more final time before the full collection was available to us.

The communication with Adam from start to finish has been superb. Everything discussed was clear and informative.  The turn around of the final collection of photos was fast considering the busy period he was experiencing at the time. Adam was so attentive throughout the whole booking, planning, organising and running of the day. We would highly recommend him.

Thank you for everything Adam!
