The Mill At Stone Wedding Photography | Amy & Karl
A Staffordshire Wedding
I’ve known Karl since I was younger and he’s always been one of those friends of friends people in my life so when he and Amy wanted me to shoot their wedding at The Mill I was absolutely delighted. They didn’t want a massive affair so the day small getting married at 3 pm then away with usual traditions like a formal sit down meal. Their relaxed approach to the day reminded me so much of all of the changes we made during the Pandemic and actually turned out to really enjoy. One thing they didn’t want to go lightly with was the photographs, hence bringing me on board their wedding team. They still wanted awesome photographs of everything even though it was a stripped back affair so we originally planned to stop at a country park on the way to the reception but that dream was crushed due to the horrendous rain and wind.
I really work well when pushed into a corner with my work and this was for sure one of those moments. I used various spots all around the grounds of The Mill to create some incredible portraits for them. They were so great at just going with the flow too. I can’t commend their effort enough to not let the rain ruin their day.
A Spring Wedding at The Mill At Stone
I loved being a part of Amy & Karl wedding day at The Mill At Stone and would relish the chance to do it again.
My style of wedding photography is strongly built on my incredibly extraverted personality and using this to build an incredible relationship with every single one of my couples. All of my couples are different and unique so in turn, so are their weddings and the photographs always lean on their personalities to make them completely different. This is even the case if I was to shoot again at The Mill At Stone again. For me and my couples time is everything on their wedding day, you want to spend it with your friends and family and not on a massive photoshoot in a field. So if I can help it I don’t really want you to miss a thing and would love you to remember as much as possible. This caring and relaxed approach to my wedding photography is the reason why so many couples recommend me. They always say it feels like a friend is taking their photographs and not a photographer.
